2015 is off to a good start, despite the fact that I fell down and cried on New Years Eve. Still my favorite holiday.

I’ve packed January and my credit cards full of classes to take. This Tuesday is the last of a series of on-camera classes I’m taking with CD Candice Alustiza. I love taking casting director workshops, because it’s nice to see that we’re all just human, and in general, CD’s are lots of fun and really nice.

This upcoming weekend I will be taking a master Lecoq class with Movement Theatre Studio. I’m really looking forward to getting out of my head and back into my body. It’s work that I don’t quite know how to do on-camera yet. This will be a great change of pace.

And at the end of the month I’m starting a scene study class with James Price of The Acting Studio. Another nice change of pace since I’ve been doing so much¬†improv.

Although there’s a special place in my heart for making up my own words:

Lastly, I filmed a bra commercial this weekend, which means I had to take my shirt off in front of a camera. Which means I spent a lot of time with my diary and one giant pizza Saturday night. I learned that I am officially a 34B.

Always learning. Always pushing the comfort zone. Still a long ways to go : )

I had an espresso martini for dinner, which means it is now 4:15 in the morning and I have finished cleaning my apartment to make space for cartwheels.

Speaking of being a weirdo, I decided to go ahead and start filming some character work. I’ve been so against it. I’m very hip you guys. But it’s important to film yourself so that you know what your face does on camera. And, I love editing stuff.

It’s a little too long, but here is the first in a series of videos I have planned:

I’m still trying to figure out how to use a camera. Listen, nobody is perfect.
